Yes he does, No he doesn't

Just when we thought it couldn't possibly get any worse, Donald Rumsfield's replacement, Defense Secretary Robert Gates says:

"I would confess I'm no expert on Iraq"

and

"I'm no expert on military matters"

So, won't Bush loan you his XBox then Robert?

The Guardian is hardly a credible source for anything.  You'll get more truth from The Mirror.

I didn't get it from the Guardian Mark, I got it from CBS - and he said those words to the US Defence Committee  :O)

CBS, ofcourse.  The same network that was forced to sack Dan Rather after he lied about Bush prior to the 2004 election.

Whatever the source Mark, those were his exact words as quoted in numerous sources.  Does his admitted lack of knowlegde on the military and Iraq not worry you?

Ofcourse I'm worried about the situation in Iraq, but I'm even more worried that I can't trust the media to be objective and fair.

It can't get any worse than Rummy, a man whose time was over in the 80's, if in fact, it ever existed at all. As far as media accuracy goes, the truth is stranger than fiction. No world leader has ever been more insulated and more out of touch.

On the contray, I think the entire world is out of touch, just like 1930's Europe, who didn't want to deal with an obvious crises until it's almost too late.
